STL offers cloud-native OSS / BSS powered by Microsoft Azure

Digital Transformation Innovation

STL, a digital network integrator, will provide cloud-native OSS / BSS solutions to telecommunications service providers, leveraging Microsoft Azure. This solution will give telecom operators the agility they need to create out-of-the-box applications thanks to its digital BSS platform.

Future-ready applications are highly scalable, flexible, and are based on four technological confluences: convergence (wired and wireless), combination (connectivity, compute and storage), disaggregation (standard hardware and open source software) ), and periphery calculation(which brings all the capabilities to the edge of the network).

In this context, telecom operators are increasingly adopting cloud-native solutions. By partnering with Microsoft, STL hopes to give them access to a complete, cloud-native application development ecosystem, flexible modular microservices and a hybrid cloud management system. STL is now an independent software vendor (ISV) partner of Microsoft.

Venkat Krishnan, Executive Director, Global Partner Solutions, Microsoft India, said: “By bringing the power of the Intelligent Cloud and Intelligent Edge closer to the rapidly evolving needs of the telecommunications industry, we are helping organizations achieve the test of time to streamline their operations and create new business or service models. Powered by Microsoft Azure, STL’s platform gives telecom operators the agility they need to build next-generation applications. STL’s BSS digital wallet is designed for innovation at scale and speed. We are confident that STL will help customers build secure, scalable and reliable cloud solutions and build smart applications.

Commenting on the collaboration, Saikat Mitra, COO, STL Network Software, said, “STL believes in the accelerated creation and monetization of smart and secure cloud-native innovations. As part of our effort to provide customers with the right cloud leverage, we have relentlessly introduced the industry to Cloud-Native and Edge use cases . By partnering with Microsoft, we will add the capabilities of Microsoft Azure to our portfolio to update our customers’ vision. ”
