Samsung Unfurls Galaxy Grand 2 Phablet



Riding high on its global success in providing smart devices, the South Korean electronics major has unfurled the successor to the phablet offering – the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.

At a time when the smartphone market is getting hotter day by day, Samsung is having a great time in India. Keeping this in mind, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is set to further move Samsung ahead towards maintaining its lead in the smartphone segment here.

Even though, Samsung has not announced the price of the device, experts believe that it will be priced under Rs 25,000. This device is set to hit the markets in January.

This Galaxy Grand 2 has a 5.25-inch HD screen and 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 8GB internal storage, up to 64GB microSD card support and 1.5GB RAM. Supporting its elegant look, on the back, it has an 8MP camera with LED flash and sports a 1.9MP camera in front.

When it comes to connectivity suite of Galaxy Grand 2, it includes 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. It is powered by a 2,600mAh battery and is likely to provide talk time of upto 17 hours.
As applications hold big importance today, there are preinstalled apps in Galaxy Grand 2 which, are Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub, Samsung Link and Group Play.
