Cambium Networks, a global leading provider of wireless broadband solutions, has signed a five-year equipment supply agreement with Enforta, Russia’s largest enterprise WISP, to supply ePMP™ 1000 as Enforta modernizes its broadband wireless network in cities and towns across the Russian Federation.

High speed broadband connectivity enabled by Enforta’s ePMP fortified network will be available in as many as 70 cities by the end of 2015.

Serving primarily enterprise customers, Enforta currently has more than 52,000 customers dispersed across 200 Russian cities. Its business customers range from small- and medium-sized businesses to large enterprises such as banks and retailers with multiple satellite offices. The focus of the network modernization is to provide Enforta’s network with the reliability, scalability, spectral efficiency and stable, high capacity it needs to enhance services to existing customers and reach new ones.

“Over the past decade, we have grown immensely as we connect some of Russia’s largest corporations, but reached the point where we couldn’t scale further without a GPS-synced solution,” said Lee Sparkman, president, Enforta. “ePMP suits our needs perfectly. Through our network modernization project and planned ePMP installations to supplement our existing equipment, we are confident in our ability to better serve our existing customers and reach new ones across our enterprise customer base.”

With multiple additions to the ePMP portfolio since its launch in October 2013, Cambium Networks has consistently responded to customer requests for enhancements while anticipating future requirements. ePMP Force 100, A high-gain integrated subscriber solution, was launched over the summer. Most recently, eFortify and eCommand, tools that offer greater visibility and control over network deployment, were updated to offer improved VoIP performance and greater ability to handle interference.

“Customers, regardless of their vertical focus or subscriber base, require increasingly efficient, high capacity and secure networks. With our roots in wireless broadband for governments and ministries the world over, Cambium Networks has the deep expertise Enforta needs to ensure that its network can support governmental connectivity while continuing to meet its enterprise customers’ service level agreements,” said Martin de la Serna, vice president sales, EMEA, Cambium Networks.
