Featured alongside the Snapdragon 865 Plus, the Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System is the world’s first multimode modem-to-antenna 5G solution for consistent, lightning-fast speeds across the board – delivering peak speeds of up to 7.5 Gbps[1]. This truly global 5G solution supports all key regions and bands including mmWave and sub-6 in both TDD and FDD frequencies. Plus, it is compatible with both NSA and SA modes along with Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS), global 5G roaming and support for multi-SIM. The leading 5th generation Qualcomm® AI Engine and new Qualcomm® Sensing Hub provide more intelligence and personalization for Galaxy users than ever before. Snapdragon 865 Plus also includes the blazing fast Qualcomm Spectra™ 480 ISP, which brings new features to mobile photography and videography thanks to speeds of up to 2 gigapixels per second.

Appearing commercially for the first time, the Galaxy Z Fold2 features the latest Qualcomm® FastConnect™ 6900 mobile connectivity system, designed to enhance Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance for the next generation of mobile experiences, in conjunction with 5G. Qualcomm Multi-User Traffic Management, with Uplink and Downlink Multi-User MIMO, and a unique 4-stream Dual Band Simultaneous (DBS) implementation provides Wi-Fi 6 performance well suited to address the speed and latency requirements of ever-evolving applications and increasingly congested environments. Additionally, as part of the Snapdragon X55 Modem-RF System, the Galaxy Note 20 features a low-band 5G/4G power amplifier module from Qualcomm Technologies to support superior network coverage globally.
