Pluribus Networks, the company that brings together compute, network, storage and virtualization into a single, open and programmable SDN platform, has announced details of its channel partner program targeting value-added resellers, system integrators, as well as hardware manufacturers and IT solution vendors. Some of the resellers joining the program are Lumenate, Presidio, Datavision and Terrapin Systems.
The company also announces that Mark Conley has joined Pluribus as director of worldwide channels. Conley joined Pluribus from CommVault, where he spent six years in a similar executive position, working with channel partners. “The open, flexible SDN architecture that Pluribus developed allows us to build next-generation infrastructures with higher performance and lower costs for our customers,” said Chris Becarra, president, Terrapin Systems.
“We are pleased to be one of the first Pluribus channel partners, because we can immediately bring this innovative technology to our customer base. The deals we currently have in the pipeline are proof of the tangible benefits that the Pluribus technology such as the Netvisor network hypervisor can bring to our customers’ environments today,” added Reagan Dixon, CEO of Lumenate.
“Only a few months after launching Netvisor, the Server Switch and our Network Computing Appliances, we are now offering our channel partners a rewarding program and are looking forward to sharing our resources and expertise with them in order to expand their presence in the respective markets and support their customers,” said Kumar Srikantan, CEO of Pluribus. “Also, we are ready to take advantage of the expertise and connections of our channel partners in the SDN market, knowing that, with a solution like ours, their customers get the flexibility and scale they need without giving up performance and high-end enterprise features.”
