Ribbon Communications Inc., an enabler in real-time communications technology and IP optical networking solutions, has announced that Planters Broadband has selected Ribbon’s Apollo 9608 optical networking platform and Muse multilayer automation platform to light a new high‑capacity optical route and initiate a broader modernization of its transport network.

The comprehensive solution immediately addresses Planters’ need for scalable, cost-efficient capacity expansion across Georgia, delivering operational simplicity, centralized provisioning and change control, faster fault isolation and optical performance intelligence.
