These transactions include the acquisition of 1,226 sites hosting SFR through a wholly owned subsidiary of PTI, and the expansion of Phoenix France Infrastructures 2, a subsidiary of PTI, by the addition of 752 sites hosting Bouygues Telecom.

This achievement marks a crucial milestone in PTI’s commitment to expand in France and support MNOs in their growing demand for reliable connectivity in densely populated regions.

Taking into account recent acquisitions as well as the previously announced construction program, PTI will own more than 3,600 sites in France and will be on track to own and operate more than 5,000 sites within two years. This makes PTI one of the largest independent wireless infrastructure providers in the country, which, taking into account acquisitions, makes France the largest of the 21 global markets where PTI is present based on number of locations .

“With these transactions, PTI is diversifying its portfolio in France with sites located across the country, particularly in major cities, in order to better serve populations through strong wireless connectivity. France is one of the most dynamic telecommunications markets in Europe , and PTI’s growth will continue to facilitate coverage deployments for all French mobile operators across the country. We are pleased to have collaborated with the professionals of Cellnex, Bouygues Telecom and SFR on these transactions,” said Dagan Kasavana, CEO of PTI.

“These various acquisitions continue to strengthen PTI’s commitment in France and the European market. We are excited to continue to grow our relationships with our customers and continue the implementation of our business model in France , which will be a catalyst for improving coverage for all operators,” added Tim Culver, Executive Chairman from PTI.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Natixis acted as advisors to PTI.

PTI, through its subsidiaries, will own and operate, pro forma for these transactions, more than 22,000 telecommunications towers in Europe , the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. PTI is present in several European countries including France , Italy, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus.

PTI was founded in 2013 with a mission to be a premier site provider for wireless operators worldwide in high growth markets. PTI’s investors include funds managed by Blackstone, Wren House and various members of the management team. PTI is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.
