NTT Ltd., a world-leading global technology services provider, today announced the successful implementation of Google’s G Suite to help Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOM Finance) realize the power of collaboration.

As part of the implementation, NTT Ltd. migrated over 1,000 employees from the legacy mail server to G Suite in a month, to accelerate employees’ access to cloud-based intelligent apps.

Prior to the implementation, WOM Finance was limited by their legacy mail server that was unable to scale to meet the needs of its growing business. Employees were also collaborating independently and using multiple communication applications without explicit IT department approval. To transform the way WOM Finance works, communicates and collaborates, NTT Ltd. implemented G Suite, a unified platform to centralize information, resources and collaboration tools.

With the implementation of G Suite, employees can securely access files and applications in the cloud anytime, anywhere, from any device. Integration with business applications, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, enables real-time collaboration to improve employee efficiency. Google Meet and Chat also provide employees with a secure chat and video platform, allowing for better collaboration. As a result, WOM Finance now enjoys modern collaboration solutions, along with productivity gains.

“In today’s competitive environment, there are plenty of uncertainties causing businesses to change rapidly. An integrated environment is critical to help our teams stay productive and connected no matter where they are. By going digital, we can make faster credit decisions in a safe and secure manner that will translate into better customer experience. NTT Ltd. demonstrated a clear understanding of the challenges we faced in future-proofing our business, and was able to bring together the best of G Suite to help our company do more on one platform,” said Anthony Y. Panggabean, Director, WOM Finance.

“G Suite provides us with a single platform for collaboration, meeting, data storage and security. Additionally, it delivers cost savings, has fewer downtime episodes, and it is the flexible and secure solution we need to scale quickly as our business grows,” added Felix Priscellius, IT Division Head, WOM Finance.

“As the partner of choice for WOM Finance, we are proud to leverage our expertise in cloud-based services to accelerate collaboration in today’s remote and mobile-first work environment. With the implementation of G Suite, we are truly excited about empowering WOM Finance on their workplace transformation journey to discover more dynamic ways to collaborate securely,” said Hendra Lesmana, CEO, NTT Indonesia Solutions.
