Delivering innovation in amalgamating true convergence of different operating systems, India’s very own global handset maker Micromax has unveiled its latest tablet 'LapTab', which will run on both Windows 8 and Android JellyBean operating system. The company has unveiled this device at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show CES 2014 in Las Vegas and will be available for Indian consumers in early February 2014.
Micromax’s latest tablet, LapTab is powered by 1.46GHz Intel Celeron processor and comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display. It has 2GB RAM, 7400 mAh battery, 2MP front camera with light sensor and also has a wireless keyboard. This device comes with storage of 32 GB which is expandable up to 64 GB, the tablet also supports Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi functionalities.
Delivering a unique combination of different operating systems functionality and style, LapTab is set to create a new category in itself by offering multiple operating system driven device form factor. At a time when it is getting increasingly difficult for vendors to create differentiation, this kind of device will surely make a huge impact on the Indian tablet market scenario.
