Lenovo has introduced in India the Lenovo VIBE X2 – a trendy, bold and powerful addition to its flagship VIBE series of smartphones.
The VIBE X2, as the world’s first layered phone, grabs eyeballs with its vibrant colours along with enviable features. The Vibe X2, with its signature three-layer design, captures the essence of today’s multi-faceted lifestyle while empowering consumers with the freedom to express their individual styles.
The device is ultra-thin and sleek in design, and uses MT6595 world’s first 4G LTE Octa-Core processor from MediaTek, promising consumers unparalleled processing power coupled with highly progressive aesthetic appeal. The phone is characterised by its 12.7 cmsfull HD screen, feather- light weight (120g) with brilliant dual cameras having a simplified UI, selfie beautification and auto-shutter gesture controls. Multi-layered smartphone
The slim and ultra-stylish VIBE X2 has a new, unique layered design accentuated with bold colours. Lenovo has employed its expert craftsmanship to ensure a visually harmonious wall of shades.
A fourth layer can be added to the layered VIBE X2 with the innovative VIBE XtensionTM Smart layerswhich are, VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 Speaker.
Exciting VIBE Xtension Smart layers
Adding a fourth layer to the VIBE X2’s multi-layered concept are the VIBE Xtension smart layers. Lenovo is introducing two VIBE Xtensions, VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 Speaker, which work seamlessly with the VIBE X2 to enhance and personalize consumers’ mobile experience.
At just 5.1mm thin, the VIBE X2 Battery surprises consumers with the ability to extend its life by up to 75 percent. An auxiliary micro-USB port simultaneously charges the case and device.
The unique VIBE X2 Speaker is the first click-on speaker in the market and it facilitatesmusic lovers as well as movie fansto enjoy their favorite tracks and videos with JBL tuned hi-fi sound. Other highlights include a convenient hands-free stand, wireless Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in battery for 5 hours of uninterrupted audio playback.
Lenovo is the first global handset manufacturer to ship a smartphone with the latest MediaTek MT6595 True Octa-core processor. The MT6595 is world’s first 4G LTE Octa-Core Smartphone SoC with ARM Cortex-A17 and Ultra HD H.265 Codec Support. The chipset employs ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture with MediaTek’s CorePilot technology to deliver a Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) platform that unlocks the full power of all eight cores.

The Lenovo VIBE X2 is equipped with two advanced cameras for multiple shooting modes and a beautification feature. This technology gives users the ability to capture crisp, vivid photos and video.
The VIBE X2’s 5MP wide-angle front camera, featuring auto-shutter gesture controls that activate the lens with the blink of an eye or a smile is perfect for selfies.
The13MP auto-focus, rear-facing camera comes with a back-illuminated sensor and LED flash to produce sharp, brilliant shots.

The Lenovo VIBE X2 will be priced at Rs. 19,999/-and will be available exclusively on Flipkart at 10am on 10 Nov, 2014 onwards. The device will be available in sunset Gold layer variant.
