Intracom Telecom to focus on Backhaul, Fronthaul Solutions at CommunicAsia 2015

Greece based Intracom Telecom, an international telecommunications systems vendor is set to focus on its new mmWave, fully outdoor Ethernet radios, StreetNode V60-PTP and UltraLink-FX80, while participating at CommunicAsia 2015 in Singapore.

CommunicAsia 2015 is happening  in Singapore between 2 – 5 June, 2015.

These products complement Intracom Telecom’s already successful MW product line, by creating a complete portfolio of products to address applications ranging from Small Cell Backhaul to Macrocell Backhaul and Fronthaul.

Telecom operators can take advantage of the compact size, multiple interfaces and flexible powering capabilities of these radios for deployment in complex topologies even in street-level. Truly innovative installation and commissioning automations, such as Auto-Alignment and ‘Zero-Touch’ provisioning via a Bluetooth-connected Android tablet, enable fast, cost effective and error-free link deployment.

Intracom Telecom will also present its OmniBAS packet microwave portfolio, featuring market leading modulation of 4096-QAM, to address effectively the LTE-Advanced backhaul network challenges. The OmniBAS portfolio comprises novel solutions, covering various form factors and modularity capabilities such as split-mount systems, indoor (OmniBAS-2W/4W/8W) and outdoor high-performance units ideal for nodal applications. The latest addition to the company’s MW portfolio includes the all Outdoor SoftwareW-Defined Radios (OSDR) facilitating flexible MW topologies for the last mile of the network.

By deploying Intracom Telecom’s OmniBAS solutions, operators can benefit from a comprehensive toolkit that fits in any network segment while providing leading IP capacity and outstanding RF performance.

The StreetNode V60-PTP is an innovative all-outdoor radio that incorporates an Auto-Aligning integrated antenna which operates in the V-Band (60 GHz). It can achieve throughputs of up to 1.7Gbit/s Fulll Duplex satisfying even the most demanding 4G backhaul requirements. Its small size and flexible powering options ideally support street-level installations. The system’s ‘Zero-Touch’ provisioning via a Bluetooth-connected Android Tablet, allows for a faster, cost effective and error-free link deployment.
