Graphite Software, Coolpad group Partner to Secure Financial Transactions on Smartphones

In its bid to enable seamlessly secure transactions on smart devices, Coolpad Group, the Chinese telecom equipment company, has selected Graphite Software's Secure Spaces virtualization solution to prevent personal and financial data mining from mobile devices.

Graphite Software is set to announce at MWC Shanghai, the availability of new Coolpad Tiptop Pro devices with Secure Spaces. As part of this partnership, Graphite Software has enabled a Mobile Banking Space for isolated financial apps, data and accounts and the world’s first app store to focus on mobile banking, payment and e-commerce apps.

The Secure Banking Store addresses app discovery and malware issues by providing a limited set of carefully selected and tested mobile banking and payment apps.

Although the emphasis for the launch for Coolpad’s new TipTop Pro device is on secure banking and payments users of the device can create additional Spaces for work, family, fun and more. Secure Spaces technology ensures the separation of UI, storage, apps, and content, and each Space can have separate accounts and profiles for apps.
