Wizie Mobile presents ‘Mango Cell’ for US travelers

With an aim to reduce the communication costs for people going to US, Wizie Mobile India Pvt Ltd, a service provider for international telecom services is launching its operations in India under the brand name Mango Cell. Initially the company is only focusing on service in Delhi NCR however, the company has aggressive plans to spread Pan India both with direct sales as well as establishing its distribution network.

Mango Cell has forayed into the international voice and internet services market with plans starting from Rs.1299 and offers Free Incoming Calls while in US and call back to India at just Rs.6.49/Min. The company is also providing any state (area code) phone number in US along bundled with Smart Phones.

And as in today’s scenario Leisure or Business Travelers have more than 1 Wi-Fi enabled device and hence the company is also offering – Mobile Hotspot Device, which will allow customers to connect to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices.

With this service, users will have the advantage of connectivity on their side which will be pre-activated and works from the moment they land into US. It is designed to be a completely turn-key solution which utilizes one of the largest nationwide 3G/4G network. For large SME’s, MICE and corporate implementation, the solution can be completely branded with wholesale pool of minutes or data bundling.

“From India there are about 3 million passengers traveling to US every year and today everyone needs a voice or data solution while they are traveling. While for voice we offer superior network coverage and best plans, we have more faith on our Hotspot Solution. It’s said that by 2020 the data business is going to grow 1000% and as we all know, there are tons of techies traveling from India to US, and they all struggle to get Internet while in US. They need to stay in Hotels or Coffee shops of search for FREE Wi-Fi for catching up with work and family. We are bridging the Gap by providing them a Hotspot, which they can turn on the moment they arrive into US and they have data in their pocket.” said Moondeep Aggarwal, President, Wizie Mobile India Pvt Ltd.

At present, this market is primarily catered by operators and focused players such as Matrix which are specializing only on providing outside India connectivity. Moving forward, Wizie Mobile will have to place its products and pricing ahead in line with competition in order to gain profitability in this market scenario.
