Just over a year after the merger, VodafoneThree has announced a series of significant product launches, built firmly on the capabilities of its new 5G+ (5GSA) network.
Just over a year after the Vodafone-Three merger, VodafoneThree is delivering on its investment plans with major new launches powered by its 5G+ network.
Vodafone SuperMobile introduces a new enhanced mobile experience, with up to 4x faster speeds than its standard plans2, guaranteed minimum speeds3 and built-in security.
Vodafone TV brings streaming, live TV, gaming and apps together in one simple entertainment hub for less time searching and more time watching.
The launches build on rapid network progress since the merger, including expanded high-speed coverage, the elimination of thousands of network not-spots and the UK’s fastest 5G+ network.
Together, these launches mark the next phase of VodafoneThree’s £11bn plan to build the UK’s best network and create new connectivity experiences for consumers and businesses.

These market-changing propositions will deliver quality, reliability, security and long-term value for consumers and businesses in every corner and every community of the country, as VodafoneThree leads the UK’s connectivity into its next era.
VodafoneThree has optimised spectrum across its portfolio, agreed partnerships in record time, eradicated 16,500km² of not-spots and kick-started its £11bn, eight-year investment.
Just one year into its front-loaded plan, the company has expanded the UK’s 5G+ population coverage from 46% to 60%, as it continues its commitment to deliver 99.96% by 2034. Vodafone has also just been crowned the UK’s fastest 5G+ network.
This enhanced network is improving performance for every VodafoneThree customer while unlocking new capabilities that weren’t previously possible on mobile networks.
Today, VodafoneThree introduces a new choice: connectivity built around quality and performance, creating new value in a market that has traditionally competed on price alone.
Vodafone SuperMobile™, powered by Vodafone’s 5G+ FastTrack™ allows customers to choose enhanced performance for activities like streaming, live TV, gaming and immersive media, even when the network is busiest. That same capability is also being used to deliver assured, enterprise-grade connectivity for businesses and critical public services.
“Vodafone SuperMobile is tangible evidence of what the Vodafone and Three merger makes possible: better connectivity and real choice for customers. The UK needs to go faster, and with the country’s largest, best spectrum holding, and our £11bn investment we will build a faster, higher-quality network than anyone else. SuperMobile is super-fast, super-reliable and super-secure. Ideal for consumers watching content on-the-go, AI applications or businesses looking to benefit from digital transformation,” said, Max Taylor, CEO, VodafoneThree.

From today, contract Vodafone customers will be able to experience Vodafone SuperMobile for just £3 per month more than full-speed Xtra plans, £8 more on SIM-only 100mbps plans, £4 more on handset 100mbps plans, and as a rolling monthly add-on for £12.
It will also be available to small businesses with up to nine employees, and large enterprises, with tailored packages and performance commitments to meet their needs.
Introducing Vodafone TV – Uninterrupted viewing in and out of the home
The company is also expanding beyond connectivity with the launch of Vodafone TV, reflecting the growing convergence of connectivity and entertainment, bringing together the best British and international partners, and the services customers use every day into one simple experience.
Vodafone TV is a new entertainment hub that brings live TV, On Demand, streaming, gaming, music, and a huge range of content apps together in one place, without the need for a dish or aerial.
It comes with Netflix and HBO Max included, with options to add other streaming favourites too. Customers can also enjoy everything Freely has to offer, an additional 150+ live tv channels, 300+ games and thousands more content apps through the Google Play Store.
At the heart of Vodafone TV is a small but powerful plug-in hub that brings together the entertainment customers love in a single experience, with 4K picture quality, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos built in.
As viewing habits become increasingly streamed and mobile, Vodafone TV also comes with a companion app that keeps entertainment flowing wherever customers are.
Viewers can start a programme at home and continue wherever their day takes them. The app mirrors profiles, recommendations, favourites and gameplay across devices, creating one seamless entertainment experience.
Vodafone TV will be available from October to new and existing Vodafone customers with a home broadband, 5G Broadband or mobile plan – making Vodafone the only Mobile Network Operator in the UK to bundle TV with mobile and mobile broadband giving customers more flexibility.
Customers looking for the best experience on the move can also pair Vodafone TV with new Vodafone SuperMobile, powered by Vodafone’s new 5G+ FastTrack, providing faster, more reliable connectivity for uninterrupted streaming away from home.
