Fios, Verizon’s fiber optic home internet service, is available to all New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) units across the five boroughs.

Residents living in NYCHA residences have access to Fios’ 100% fiber-optic broadband internet service with options that deliver at least 300 Mbps for both downloads and uploads for free.
Additionally, participants in certain government assistance programs may be eligible to receive free Fios internet through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP),1 a U.S. government program run by the FCC to help low-income households afford internet service and the Verizon Forward Program. With ACP and the Verizon Forward Program, qualified customers can get free Fios internet service.
