Streamkeeper Multi-DRM, a multi-tenant platform deployed in the AWS cloud, is compatible with AWS SPEKE and works seamlessly with AWS Media Services. It leverages the AWS Global Accelerator and AWS Route 53 to enable rapid content consumption, provide best-in-class reliability, and auto-scale during peak periods. Additionally, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and AWS Key Management Service (KMS) ensure that Streamkeeper Multi-DRM services are protected from malicious attacks.

“Our customers’ top priority is to have a flexible security solution that does not impact the customer experience and does not compromise on reliability,” said Andrew Bear, Head of VCAS Business at Verimatrix. “ As a global innovator in OTT content security, we are pleased to partner with AWS to offer highly reliable and time-saving technology that can be integrated in minutes and has a significant impact on operators’ bottom lines. With Streamkeeper Multi-DRM, operators have access to the latest DRM industry standards and features across a wide range of compatible devices, making all types of projects a success. This collaboration between Verimatrix and AWS ensures a rewarding experience for the end user, protected by multiple layers of security.”

The special highlights of the collaboration include OTT video services:

Fast deployment – The time required to build custom on-premise solutions delays the return on investment.
Highest availability and reliability - On-premises environments are either extremely expensive (if they provide geo-redundancy) or not very reliable (if they don't).
Auto-scaling – On-premises environments are typically oversized to handle peak loads.
Well secured – Entry-level DRMs do not meet the needs of high-end content owners and can therefore limit access to premium content.
Integrated and Compatible – Lack of integrations means delays and project costs. The software is compatible with CMAF, CPIX and AWS SPEKE v2.
Fully Managed – Capture metrics that can be monitored, alerted, and acted upon to provide a complete operational picture and insight into service performance.
