Tricéleris, a neutral fiber-optic infrastructure operator, has launched its new technological platform for managing and commercializing wholesale FTTH (Fiber to the Home) services. Developed alongside Optare Solutions within the framework of the Rubicón project, the solution strengthens the company’s operational autonomy, growth capacity, and ability to deliver an agile service experience to its clients.
The rollout of the new platform represents a strategic milestone in the evolution of Tricéleris. By assuming end-to-end control of its wholesale operations, automating primary service provisioning workflows, and establishing a scalable operating model, Tricéleris has laid the foundation for its next phase of expansion.

Furthermore, Tricéleris reinforces its positioning as a neutral operator by streamlining wholesale relationships and facilitating faster, more efficient onboarding into new coverage areas. With this new technological architecture, the company’s clients can implement and sell internet services within just hours of signing a commercial agreement.
Operational Autonomy and Capacity to Grow
The Rubicón project serves as a cornerstone of Tricéleris’ growth strategy, providing the company with a technological architecture that centralizes wholesale service management and facilitates the onboarding of new operators and networks.
The platform integrates contracting, provisioning, activation, monitoring, and service management workflows, alongside dedicated tools for commercial and operational engagement with internet service providers (ISPs) and client operators. This integration provides full traceability, updated real-time information, and enhanced responsiveness to the individual needs of each operator.
Miguel Ángel Jiménez Izquierdo, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Tricéleris, emphasized: “Our goal is to ensure that any operator, regardless of size, can access our fiber infrastructure in an agile, straightforward, and efficient manner, with automated processes and an optimal service experience. Through automated workflows and more direct operational management, we can deliver a superior service experience and support our clients’ growth with a reliable and neutral network”.
Automation and Wholesale Connectivity for Operators
Automating the provisioning and activation of fiber-optic services allows operator requests to be processed in an integrated manner while minimizing manual interventions. The primary goal is to accelerate client onboarding and expedite service go-lives.
The platform incorporates open, standardized Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) designed to facilitate seamless integration with telecom operators’ Business and Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS). This architecture simplifies technical interconnection, reduces integration barriers, and accelerates the launch of new services.
Additionally, the platform includes real-time monitoring tools, process tracking, operational management capabilities, and clear visibility into quality indicators and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). As a result, operators have access to richer insights to monitor the status of their services.
These capabilities enable local and regional operators to broaden their geographic coverage and develop commercial activities backed by Tricéleris’ infrastructure, eliminating the need to deploy proprietary networks in each new territory.
Collectively, these features reinforce a customer experience centered on ease of integration, operational transparency, and rapid turnaround times.
Technological Development Alongside Optare Solutions
The Rubicón project was developed in collaboration with Optare Solutions, a firm specializing in technology consulting, engineering, and solutions development for the telecommunications industry.
The collaboration was executed through modular development and progressive deployment. Both companies prioritized supporting Tricéleris’ growth, ensuring that technical systems scale smoothly alongside its expanding network footprint and the rising number of connected operators.
Luis Alves, General Manager EMEA at Optare Solutions, noted: “Rubicón demonstrates how open technological architecture and well-designed automation can become strategic drivers for a telecommunications operator’s growth. Our collaboration with Tricéleris has delivered a robust, scalable platform built to manage increasingly complex wholesale operations and facilitate seamless integration with other operators”.
A New Phase for Tricéleris’ Wholesale Business
The platform reinforces Tricéleris’ neutral operator model and creates new partnership opportunities for telecom companies seeking to extend their territorial presence without deploying infrastructure of their own in every area.
Tricéleris, which launched operations in November 2024 and is currently active across more than 160 municipalities in Spain, enters a new chapter of growth with the launch of the platform developed under Project Rubicón. This tool reinforces operational autonomy, automates wholesale management, and allows clients to expand their reach with significantly lower infrastructure capital expenditures.
