Telia Company has acquired Finland based enterprise-focused information security software company – Propentus Oy
Telia Company’s subsidiary Cygate Oy acquires Finnish enterprise software company Propentus Oy which is specialised in identity and access rights management. The acquisition strengthens Telia Company‘s offering of information security services.
Propentus with core competences in information security, risk management and implementation of cyber security, is based in Kouvola with 55 employees. Its services are used in over 30 countries.
“Propentus possesses unique expertise in utilising identity data to improve the efficiency and automation of business processes. The transaction will reinforce our data security competence in accordance with our growth strategy and is an excellent addition to our unique combination of network, information security, data centre and cloud services,” says Markus Kalalahti, CEO of Cygate Oy.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the transaction.
