Telefónica Tech has acquired Altostratus Cloud Consulting, a company that specialises in multi-cloud services and Google Cloud Premier Partner for Southern Europe.
This deal enables the technology company to incorporate highly qualified native professionals and strengthen its cloud expertise with hyperscalers. Altostratus Cloud Consulting is a Google Cloud Premier Partner in Europe since 2019.
Telefonica Tech will strengthen its Cloud capabilities with this acquisition, adding to its team the highly qualified professionals that are part of the company and reinforcing its leadership in the sector by extending its positioning with the main hyperscalers.
Altostratus is adding its expertise in consulting, implementation, migration and managed public cloud services to Telefónica Tech’s portfolio. The company, which provides services to more than 300 customers, from large corporations to SMEs, also offers tailored-made solutions on Big Data and Machine Learning technology and proprietary solutions.
According to Daniel Aldea, CEO at Altostratus, “being part of Telefónica Tech completes a journey that began more than five years ago so that we could become the leader in Google Cloud services in Spain. We consider it a natural step in our relationship with Telefónica after several years of working together with our customers in their digital transformation process”.
Telefónica Tech recently integrated ACENS, the services company focused on the SME market and which combines its experience with the latest technologies in infrastructure (Cloud, Housing and IaaS), cloud communications, cloud networking, applications (SaaS) and security.
