Optus offers new customers in over 1400 regional locations three months free plan fees on new selected mobile plans
Optus is offering customers in more than 1400 regional locations nationally three months free plan fees on selected new mobile services. Eligible plans include all ‘bring your own’ handset plans in addition to selected handset plans.
“Regional Australians are tired of high prices and we want to remind them that with our premium national network, they have a choice of plans with a stack of value adds,” said Marcus Grimes, Optus’ Head of Regional.
“With more than $6 billion invested into our mobile network in the last five years we are putting our money where our mouth is and asking consumers to give our network a shot.
“We are confident that with a mix of strong network coverage and super value they will probably ask themselves why they didn’t make the switch to Optus sooner.”
In addition to receiving the first three months free on their plan fees on new selected mobile plans, eligible customers who take up selected 24 month mobile plans are covered by Optus’ Coverage Commitment which gives them the opportunity to cancel their plan if they are experiencing coverage issues on the Optus network.
“It’s pretty easy to change over to Optus and with our “Top Pick for Regional Coverage” badge, customers will know what handset works best on our network in their town or region.’
