Spice intros Stellar Glide 3G Smartphone with OGS screen

With an aim to deliver devices that are both flamboyant and proficient, Spice Retail Limited, India’s Mobile Internet company has unveiled the new Stellar Glide Mi - 438. The new 3G smartphone, tested and approved by Google Labs, comes with a ‘Google Mobile Services (GMS) certification.

Spice conducted CTS, CTS Verifier and GTS tests among others in a controlled environment in order to fulfill the prerequisites for GMS certification. The Stellar Glide sports a majestic 10.16 cm OGS screen which makes the screen thinner than the usual capacitive touchscreen. The classy look of the handset gives it a distinct style quotient and an edge over its competitors. Stellar Glide gives access to 2GB Free storage on Spice Cloud that enables the users to access data on multiple devices. The smartphone packs a punch with its other superlative features including 3G video calling and G Sensor.

The new smartphone comes with a free flip cover worth Rs. 500 and a screen guard. Android 4.2 based (Dual Sim – 3G + 3G) Stellar Glide comes packed with 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor which helps one to achieve desired tasks much faster. The new smartphone features 2 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing 1.3 MP camera. It also has a 4GB ROM and 512 MB RAM which is expandable upto 32 GB through a micro SD card. The 1350 MAh battery gives a talk-time of more than 4.5 hours and up to 170 hours standby ensuring a strong battery backup.

Spice Stellar Glide comes with features like FM Radio, Wi-Fi Tethering, G-sensor and HSPA support among others. Spice Cloud provides Spice consumers with Cloud Backup of 2GB free Data storage and seamless access to user photos/ documents / music / videos and contacts across the devices along with advanced security and anti-theft features.
