Featuring the most powerful and world’s fastest second-generation custom Qualcomm Oryon™ CPU, game-changing Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU, and groundbreaking Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy brings unparalleled performance transforming the way users interact with their Galaxy AI device.
Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is a powerhouse platform, delivering top-of-the-line on-device AI capabilities to the entire Galaxy S25 series, as well as premium 5G and Wi-Fi features thanks to the Snapdragon® X80 5G Modem-RF System and the Qualcomm® FastConnect™ 7800 Mobile Connectivity System for ultra-fast cellular and Wi-Fi 7 speeds. Additionally, the Galaxy S25 series are the first commercial devices to feature Snapdragon® Satellite which allows consumers to send and receive messages via satellite (narrowband NTN) natively supported in Android OS.

Designed to set new standards of innovation, Samsung also partnered with Qualcomm Technologies to integrate Spatio-Temporal Filter (STF) support into the Qualcomm Spectra™ ISP of this series, unlocking sharper-than-ever low light video capture capabilities, even at 8K 30fps, while maintaining world-class power consumption efficiency.
Additionally, Qualcomm Technologies and Samsung collaborated closely to tailor the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy for the latest Gemini experiences. Whether it’s managing tasks between apps, livestreaming from the Gemini app, or using Gemini as a writing assistant, these experiences will run seamlessly and efficiently on Snapdragon.
