Singtel has launched 5G+ Mobile Workspace, one of the world’s first infra-lite enterprise solutions that combines devices, data plans and lifecycle management into a single, seamless offering, enabling professionals and businesses to work securely and efficiently – anytime, anywhere.

Developed in partnership with Ericsson and HP Inc, the service features the Ericsson Enterprise Virtual Cellular Network which automates eSIM profile management to enable zero-touch provisioning and secure access to corporate applications from virtually any location. With this, enterprises can maintain full control over eSIM activation and deployment, simplifying operations and reducing IT overheads.

Singtel’s 5G+ Workspace also includes HP’s enterprise-grade, AI-ready laptops and digital workplace tools that simplify device management for modern, distributed teams. By using 5G+ Mobile Workspace, each device is pre-configured with Singtel’s 5G+ eSIM during production, ensuring laptops connect securely straight out of the box.

The intelligent management platform then automatically activates 5G connectivity based on company policies, allowing IT teams to manage devices, monitor usage, and optimise employee experience throughout their lifecycle.

About 76% of employers in Singapore are adopting hybrid work which raises concerns over connectivity, security and IT complexity for enterprises. Singtel’s 5G+ Mobile Workspace addresses these with a secure, intelligent mobility platform that supports cloud-native, AI-driven applications at scale.

Keith Leong, Managing Director, Enterprise, Singtel Singapore, said, “Hybrid work and cloud applications are transforming enterprise operations. Singtel’s 5G+ Mobile Workspace removes the need for enterprises to set up extensive fixed infrastructure of their own or rely on public networks. They can deploy mobile workforces, pop-up operations and smart field services with confidence with our secure, scalable and intelligent platform. This innovation gives professionals and businesses the freedom to work, collaborate and even innovate on the go, with confidence that their connections are fast, reliable and protected, wherever they may be.”

Singtel’s 5G+ Mobile Workspace delivers flexible, secure and cost-efficient real-time communications — including voice, messaging and video — without the need for enterprises to invest in additional infrastructure or interfaces. It also enhances protection with SingVerify, which authenticates digital identities through telco APIs to reduce fraud, and Mobile Protect, a network-level defence that filters and blocks threats before they reach users’ devices – even when they travel overseas.

Daniel Ode, Head of Ericsson, Singapore, Philippines & Brunei, said, “In collaborating with Singtel on 5G+ Mobile Workplace, we are demonstrating how EVCN can enable enterprise to embed connectivity into everyday business processes, such as automated pre-provisioning of 5G services on laptops for new employees and consultants, which can be seamlessly integrated as part of the recruitment process with a zero-touch end-user experience. EVCN interacts with AI Agents, providing personalized analytics which allow enterprises to automate entire workflows, powering IT modernization that enables business transformation.”

Samir Shah, Vice President and Head of Personal Systems for Greater Asia, HP Inc., said, “As AI continues to reshape how we work, professionals are seeking smarter, more secure ways to stay productive and connected. At HP, we design solutions that empowers the workforce to harness the full potential of AI. We have the largest portfolio of AI PCs in the industry that are built to deliver meaningful performance, seamless connectivity, and enhanced security. We are delighted to partner Singtel for this offering, combining HP’s AI-ready devices with Singtel’s advanced 5G+ infrastructure to drive the future of work and unlock new possibilities for businesses across the region.”

Streamlining operations with intelligent orchestration

Singtel’s unified dashboard gives IT teams full visibility and control over enterprise mobility. From a single interface, teams can monitor device usage, enforce compliance, allocate resources, and apply access policies by app, user or location. This streamlined approach eliminates the need for on-site infrastructure and simplifies operations across distributed workforces.

The platform also enables direct activation of advanced network services like network slicing that supports high-speed data transfer and real-time analytics.

Backed by Singtel’s nationwide 5G+ coverage including 700MHz spectrum, the solution delivers stronger indoor connectivity, ultra-low latency and speeds of up to four times faster. Singtel has proven the scalability of its 5G+ network at high-traffic events such as the F1 Grand Prix Singapore, National Day Parade, and international concerts, maintaining seamless connectivity even under peak demand.

Enabling secure communications on the move

Singtel’s 5G+ Mobile Workspace offering includes a number of security features:

a. Enterprise Mobile Protect employs next-generation firewalls and network slicing to identify and neutralise zero-day threats – including malware, spyware, and phishing links – before they reach mobile devices, globally.

b. SingVerify, an identity authentication solution uses telco APIs such as Number Verify and Device Location to validate user identities instantly, significantly mitigating digital fraud.
