Singtel, beIN SPORTS partner to offer Rugby World Cup 2019 on CAST and TV

Singtel backs amalgamation of Intouch and GULF

Sports fans in Singapore can look forward to watching the Rugby World Cup with Singtel. Complete and live coverage of the tournament, held in Japan from 20 September to 2 November, will be available on Singtel CAST mobile video app and Singtel TV as a standalone pack.

Fans can sign up for the beIN SPORTS RUGBY channel at an early bird special of $68.90 (incl. of GST) from 8 to 31 August 2019. Thereafter the pack is available for $78.90 (incl. of GST) until the end of the tournament. Fans can sign up at singtel.com/cast with a valid credit or debit card. Singtel TV customers can log on to singtel.com/TV, call 1609 or press the blue button on the Singtel remote control to sign up.

Whether they are out and about or in front of the TV, they’ll be able to take in every tackle and try on CAST and Singtel TV,” said Yuen Kuan Moon, CEO, Consumer Singapore, Singtel.

20 nations are taking part in the tournament including defending champions New Zealand and first time host nation Japan. 48 matches will be played over seven weeks, opening with Japan facing Russia at Tokyo Stadium on 20 September, and culminating with the final at Yokohama Stadium on 2 November.

New Zealand is the most successful team in Rugby World Cup history, winning the trophy three times, while Australia and South Africa have two victories each. Contested every four years, the Rugby World Cup is the third largest sporting event in the world after the summer Olympics and the football World Cup.
