Singapore's Keppel Data Centres Selects Epsilon for Enhanced Connectivity

Keppel Data Centres Holdings Pte Ltd (Keppel Data Centres), a subsidiary of Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Limited (Keppel T&T), has selected Epsilon, a privately owned global communications service provider, to deliver local access networks in Singapore, IP Transit services and global connectivity.

Keppel Data Centres will be able to support the networking needs of its customers using Epsilon’s flexible network Infrastructure as a Service (network IaaS) offering, enabling them to scale their cloud services globally.

Thomas Pang, Chief Executive Officer of Keppel T&T said, “Beyond providing just data centre colocation services, we are exploring more ways to add value and further support our customers’ businesses. Organisations today need flexible, proven and secure infrastructure to run their enterprise applications and solutions. Epsilon has local fibre infrastructure connecting data centre sites and enterprise locations in Singapore to its global network spanning Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia-Pacific.

Epsilon’s terabit global optical backbone connects 70 points of presence (PoPs) and is supported by over 500 carrier relationships with Epsilon’s end-to-end 24/7 Network Operating Centre. Near real-time on demand provisioning through pre-connected on-net sites are possible on Epsilon’s network to meet customer’s needs, including short term contracts as needed.
