As it has gained a lot of popularity, Samsung has also made available these devices in the offline space. Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy M21. This latest device comes with a number of upgrades in its hardware and software.

It feels great to hold Galaxy M21. The back panel of this device is made out of plastic and it comes in a glossy finish – overall giving it an awesome touch and feel. This device is available in Blue and Black color options.
Galaxy M21 has a big display that measures 6.4 inches, and has thin bezels at the top and at the sides. It comes with a waterdrop notch at the top, and it houses the 20-megapixel selfie camera and a tiny earpiece right above it.
The power button and the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner of this device are quite well placed though, and we found it extremely handy to use it – even in single-handed mode.
This device carries a mammoth 6000 mAh battery and because of that, it measures 8.9mm in thickness. But even then, the device does not feel too bulky in the hand as the sides are curved and give it a unique ease to hold. Galaxy M21 offers a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a 15W charger comes packed with the device.

Galaxy M21 is running One UI 2.0 on top of Android 10. It has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution. While reviewing the device, we have found it to be extremely vivid and delivers great viewing angles. And yes, the best part about this panel is that it also gets bright enough outdoors to be visible under sunlight. So overall – we found the display to be extremely good in performance and adds a big positive for the device.
Galaxy M21 comes with Exynos 9611 SoC. This is an octa-core processor with four performance ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four efficiency Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It is also coming with an integrated Mali-G72 graphics capability.
Galaxy M21 comes in two different flavors, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Galaxy M21 is a dual-SIM device and has two Nano-SIM slots as well. And it also provides you with a dedicated microSD card slot for your storage expansion needs.
The device comes with an Always-on display mode. It also carries Dolby Atmos capability which makes all the difference when want to listen to some good music. And with Android 10 – it includes a Dark Mode, which enhances the capabilities of Super AMOLED panel.
Galaxy M21 also comes with a Game Booster feature that can help you play games and do away with notifications. While review this device, we used this feature in the game booster and it was quite handy to keep your concentration on games and not worry too much about notifications.

Galaxy M21 comes packed with the Exynos 9611 processor. This is quite a matured processor and hence it is quite good in terms of handling multiple apps without any lag in performance or slowing down in any way. Multitasking was always smooth with this device and we could switch between multiple apps in a smooth manner without any glitch. The fingerprint scanner as well as the face recognition works quite smoothly as well and we found it to be extremely fast.
Battery life is perhaps one of the biggest plus points that this device carries. It comes with a extra large – 6,000mAh battery and it is quite sufficient as the device lasted us for close to two full days of regular to heavy usage. While reviewing this device, we browsed internet, listened to music, played videos and games as well. Battery performance of this device is quite exemplary.

With this device, Samsung is giving a triple camera setup. The primary camera has a 48-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. It also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. In our usage of this phone, we found that this camera system works really well for taking pictures in good light, low-light as well as bad-light conditions. The colors in the pictures were vivid, natural and there was no disorientation of any sort.
The camera UI is quite easy to handle. It comes packed with some very interesting features such as the scene optimiser which detects what the camera is pointed towards. Apart from the regular photo modes, this device comes with a Pro, Live Focus, Night, Super Slow-Mo, Food etc.
When it comes to the selfie camera, Galaxy M21 delivers 12-megapixel photos by default, but you can take a photo at the full 20-megapixel resolution if you change the aspect ratio. It provides video recording at 4K for the primary camera.
There is extra fun – while shooting portraits with the Live focus mode in this device. To make things interesting, Galaxy M21 lets you select the level of blur in the output. The camera software detects edges in a smooth fashion and the software also allows you to change the level of blur and the effect after taking a shot. The results of this camera feature are quite astonishing.
