Rigstar Industrial Telecom USA (Rigstar), an enabler in providing Industrial Telecommunication services, along with BLiNQ Networks (BLiNQ) an established North American manufacturer of CBRS fixed and mobile wireless equipment has launched private LTE network in Midland, Texas with future expansions already on the horizon.
“We understand this region has multiple challenges when it comes to infrastructure, network availability, and limited industrial telecommunication resources. It’s an area we’ve continued to monitor over the past 3-years and have partnered with BLiNQ to provide a reliable solution focused on innovation,” said President of US Operations Rick Sperandio. “Our team recently installed BLiNQ’s FW-300i base stations, CPEs and NetLiNQ Access Gateway that can deliver critical data in challenging regions. We’re going to continue to expand our Private LTE network into areas throughout the Permian Basin that are underserviced and require connectivity.”
“One of our key strengths is providing connectivity in locations which are often difficult to service, and we are pleased that our project with Rigstar has delivered very positive results,” said Patrick Buthmann, BLiNQ’s VP of Sales and Business Development. “We were able to set up the initial network within one week, and a network was operational with the first customers online within days.”
