Grandstream, the company that’s been connecting the world with SIP Unified Communication solutions since 2002, and PortaOne, a global software developer of the B/OSS and UCaaS platforms, are expanding their partnership.
As a result of this announcement – all of Grandstream’s IP Phones are fully compliant with PortaOne’s Hosted IP PBX platform – PortaSwitch®. Communication service providers around the world that use PortaSwitch® to deploy IP Centrex and UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) can now take advantage of Grandstream’s powerful and award-winning suite of IP phones.
The expanded partnership between Grandstream and PortaOne adds the following to PortaOne’s list of certified Grandstream devices:
- the GXP1600 series of Basic IP phones
- the GXP1700 series of Mid-Range IP Phones
- the GXP2135 and GXP2170 High-End IP Phones
- the DP series of DECT cordless IP Phones
Previously certified in 2015 were the GXP2130, GXP2140 and GXP2160 High End IP phones, as well as the GXV series of IP Video Phones for Android™. The two companies are currently developing auto-provisioning profiles for all Grandstream devices, which will be available in the coming months.
Grandstream is one of the world’s top 4 manufacturers of IP phones. It provides a full portfolio of devices with market-leading feature sets and easy provisioning that offer a one-stop-shop for all VoIP needs.
The company offers an ideal model for every need and its products have been recognized throughout the world for their quality, reliability and innovation. World-renowned market research firm Frost & Sullivan named Grandstream their Enterprise IP Endpoints Company of the Year in 2016.
“For a UCaaS provider an IP phone is the only ‘tangible’ part of the service from the end-user’s perspective. So the reliability, ease of use and even appearance of the phone have great impact on whether users like the service. We are happy to complement our back-end IP Centrex platform with Grandstream IP phones. The integration we did ensures that service will be automatically and instantaneously provisioned on thousands of IP phones, so this saves quite a bit of engineering resources through the elimination of manual configuration – and contributes to a better user experience,” noted Andriy Zhylenko, Chief Technical Officer for PortaOne.
“We are excited to expand our relationship with PortaOne,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream. “PortaOne is an ideal company for us to partner with, as both of our companies make it our mission to empower businesses throughout the world with powerful, state-of-the-art yet easy communication solutions. We have watched over the years as PortaOne grew into the force they are now and we are thrilled to extend support for all of our IP phones to PortaOne’s service provider customers across the world.”
