EE has announced Flex plans, offering a new service designed to meet the needs of the 2.1 million UK customers EE predicts want the control and flexibility of pay-as-you-go with the simplicity and ease of pay monthly plans.
The new plans add to the wide range of choice for those wanting the best mobile experience, whether that's pay-as-you-go, pay monthly or now one of EE's Flex plans ' all on a UK network that offers 4G in more places than any other.
Set to launch on the 25th July, Flex plans give customers the best of both worlds. Like pay monthly plans, a Flex plan allows customers to set up one regular payment so they never have to worry about topping up, but like on pay as you go, there's no contract so they can change, pause or stop their plan and take a break whenever they like.
Max Taylor, Managing Director of Marketing, EE said: 'Our new plans give customers great flexibility and control and are unpinned by the UK's best network. Customers on Flex plans have the freedom to pause or change their plan at any time, with the value and simplicity offered from a traditional pay monthly plan.'
Customers can swap to a Flex plan that better suits their needs at any time. If a customer uses all their call minutes or data allowance, they can simply add more data or top-up their minutes with a one-off payment. Customers can keep track and manage their plan with total control through the MYEE app.
Flex customers will receive a free data boost the longer they stay on a Flex plan ' receiving an extra 500MB every three months. And if a Flex customer doesn't manage to get through all their data, they can roll over what's left into next month's allowance so they get a second chance to use it.
EE is introducing four new great value 30-day Flex plans as follows:
Furthermore, EE Flex customers will also be able to use their UK call, text and data allowance when abroad in the EU as well as receive customer support from UK and Ireland call centres.
