Ooredoo has appointed appointed Rajeev Sethi as Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Myanmar, succeeding Vikram Sinha.
Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, Ooredoo Group CEO, said: “We welcome Mr. Rajeev Sethi to Ooredoo, and are confident that he will deliver sustained success during this period of change and transformation in the telecom sector.”
Rajeev has almost 25 years of work experience, of which 15 have been in the telecom sector with several multinational companies such as Grameenphone in Bangladesh where he held the title of CEO. He has successfully held leadership roles at Uninor India, Vodafone India, Hewlett Packard and Hutchison Telecom among other multinational companies in India.
His last appointment was as Chief Commercial Officer in Airtel Africa where he was responsible for the 15 countries.
