San Francisco based Nextbit, the creators of “cloud first” Android phone, is all set to enter the Indian market with the launch of its smartphone “Nextbit Robin” in May 2016.
The smartphone is already available in US market for approximately US $400. Founded by CEO Tom Moss and CTO Mike Chan — who worked at Google on the Android team, Nextbit Robin highlights their vision that smartphones should be simpler, leaner and smarter by harnessing the potential of cloud.
The smartphone promises high-end performance to match the modern consumer’s demands without compromising on the design or features.
Amongst the key highlights, Robin ends the hassle of limited storage with an integrated cloud based solution. Additionally, users get all the latest security and safety features including a fingerprint sensor.
Key Features of Nextbit Robin
In the US market, Robin comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display in a unique and bold plastic body.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage and 100 GB cloud storage space.
Other features of the Nextbit Robin include a 2680mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
