EE will be the first operator in the world to bring customers the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G smartphone. EE will range the new OnePlus flagship as part of its 5G launch service this summer.

Only on EE will OnePlus 7 Pro 5G customers be able to make the most of the smartphone with the cutting-edge experience that EE’s 5G network will provide.

With a new 90Hz QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, designed to offer an ultra-responsive experience with smooth animations and vibrant colours, customers will benefit from the great video content and mobile gaming experiences over 5G on the move.

Users will be able to capture crystal-clear shots with the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G’s intelligent triple camera and share them quickly from busy crowded areas such as stadiums and stations thanks to the increased capacity EE’s 5G network provides. What’s more with OnePlus’ Warp Charge – offering a faster and cooler way to charge a smartphone – customers will be ready even quicker, so they can take advantage of amazing new augmented and virtual reality experiences that 5G will bring.

EE OnePlus 7 Pro 5G customers will be able to access EE’s 5G network from launch in the UK’s four capital cities – London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast – plus Birmingham and Manchester. EE will then be rolling it out through 2019 across the busiest parts of ten more UK cities: Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry and Bristol – where it can make the biggest difference to people who live, work or travel through the busiest areas.

As part of the exclusive EE and OnePlus partnership, 50 of the first EE OnePlus 6T customers will be upgraded to a new OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and 5G plan – free of charge, before launch – making them the UK’s first customers to experience the power of 5G.

Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s Consumer division, said: “5G will provide a new era in connectivity on the move, giving customers the best mobile experience they’ve ever had, and opening up a whole new world of connected possibilities from AR to high definition video and gaming. We’re working with OnePlus, which – like EE – is a pioneer in its field, to exclusively offer the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G to our customers. Through our partnership, these customers will be there on the first steps of the UK’s amazing 5G journey.”

Pete Lau, CEO and founder of OnePlus, said: “We constantly challenge ourselves to give people the best experience possible. A great user experience means freedom and should enhance your life instead of distracting you from it. I’m so proud of what we’ve built with the OnePlus 7 series, and can’t wait for people to try out the display.”

EE OnePlus 7 Pro 5G customers will also benefit from access to the biggest and fastest network when not in a 5G area, as well as access to 4G Calling and Wi-Fi Calling. Customers can register their interest in the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G on EE at www.ee.co.uk/5g

EE will also range the OnePlus 7 on its award winning 4G network, when available this June. The OnePlus 7 4G will be available on EE’s new Smart Plans, which are the UK’s most personal mobile plans that include a smartphone lifetime guarantee and annual device and account MOT, the option to upgrade anytime, and a range of Swappable Benefits including Video and Music data passes, extended roaming and BT Sport which customers can swap as they choose.
