NBC Olympics Selects AT&T as Networking Services Provider

NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, has selected AT&T to provide networking services for its production of the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, which take place in Tokyo, Japan, from July 23 – August 8.

The announcement was made today by Chris Connolly, VP of Transmission Engineering and Operations, NBC Olympics, and Sarita Rao, President, AT&T Integrated & Partner Solutions.

NBC Olympics will use AT&T Global Video Services to deliver HD coverage of the Tokyo Olympic Games. The AT&T ultra-reliable and dedicated communications services will help route the excitement in Tokyo back to viewers watching NBC Olympics’ coverage of the Games in the U.S.

“Our long experience with NBC Olympics – combined with our flexible network platforms – will help NBC Olympics bring state-of-the-art coverage to viewers across the United States,” said Rao.
