Moving ahead with its smartphone strategy, Indian mobile handset manufacturer Micromax has launched dual SIM smartphone Canvas Blaze that includes one slot·that supports·MTS’ CDMA network. This smartphone is available for about·Rs 11,000.
As part of its alignment with MTS, Micromax Canvas Blaze will have one·SIM slot that will work on 3G equivalent CDMA network of MTS while the other slot will support GSM·SIM which can work on GSM network of·operators such as Airtel, Vodafone, Idea etc. MTS is also set to provide buyers of Canvas Blaze with 2 GB of mobile internet usage, 1,000 minutes for MTS to MTS local calling and 120 minutes for other local and STD calls for initial period of six months.
Micromax Canvas Blaze comes with a 5 inch screen size and is built on Android’s Jelly Bean platform. It comes with 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel camera at back with flash and VGA front camera and expandable memory of up to 32 GB. This smartphone supports Bluetooth version 2.0 and Wi-Fi communication·as well.
