Motorola Solutions Foundation Contributes Toward Public Safety in Vietnam

Motorola Solutions Inc., through the charitable arm of the company, Motorola Solutions Foundation, has announced contributions totaling 949.5 million VND (US$45,000) to two organizations in Vietnam with the aim of enhancing public safety and recognizing the sacrifice and dedication of brave first responders across the country.

The foundation’s contribution to the College of Logistics & Technology for People Police will be used to fund workshops on public safety. In addition, families of selected first responders across Vietnam will receive financial assistance through the foundation’s contribution to the Social Charity Fund’s Bravery Fund.

The contributions were officially presented to the respective organizations in a brief ceremony during the US-ASEAN Business Council meeting, held at the Ministry of Public Security and attended by Dang Van Hieu, deputy minister from the Ministry of Public Security Vietnam, representatives from MSI and recipient organizations.

Trung Nguyen, country manager, Motorola Solutions Viet Nam Pte. Ltd. said, “Motorola Solutions has been in Vietnam for many years and we are not only doing business, but also committed to being part of the community where we operate. Our contribution to the College of Logistics & Technology for People Police and the Social Charity Fund’s Bravery Fund is our initiative to show our appreciation and lend assistance to those who dedicate their lives for the safety of the people of this nation.”
