
The 2025 edition of the Moldova Digital Summit delivered an unprecedented tech experience in Chișinău, where innovation, entrepreneurship, and global expertise converged over three dynamic days during June 05 – June 07, 2025. The event brought together more than 3,000 participants from 15 countries — including Sweden, Qatar, Romania, the United Kingdom, and Germany — driven by an agenda focused on digital skills development, business acceleration, investment attraction, infrastructure modernization, and e-governance.

A major highlight was the 1,500 m² interactive expo area, open to the public. Visitors engaged with a wide array of technologies, immersive experiences, and hands-on digital tools — including real-time issuance of e-signatures, generative AI art, augmented and virtual reality demos, and next-generation AI applications.

Moldova Digital Summit 2025 provided tangible international exposure and cooperation opportunities for Moldovan businesses:

A Digital Society for All
The Summit also underscored digitalization’s role in bridging the gap between state and citizens. The launch of the new eDemocracy platform (edemocratie.gov.md) marked a turning point in participatory governance, allowing citizens to submit petitions, request information, and participate in online consultations. In just a few days, over 1,000 users accessed the platform, with 586 contributing to surveys on digital services such as EVO, e-signatures, and MDelivery.
As Moldova aims to become a fully digital state by 2030, the e-Governance Agency shared key achievements from 15 years of digital transformation:
Annual public savings of ~3% of GDP through e-government
MDL 11 billion saved by citizens from streamlining or elimination through digitalization of redundant procedures
MDL 30 billion saved from the national budget in the past 5 years
100,000+ active users of the EVO public services app
Over 100,000 digital documents issued, with online payments exceeding MDL 4 million
300+ digital public services, including 58 added between 2024–2025

Empowering Future Generations
The final day of Moldova Digital Summit 2025 was dedicated to education and technology, through the fourth edition of Tekwill Expo Day. The event brought together over 1,500 teachers and students from across Moldova in a celebration of interactive learning and tech exploration.
Highlights included:
Showcasing cutting-edge educational tools to spark interest in STEM disciplines, as part of Tekwill, ATIC, and partner initiatives: “Tekwill in Every School,” “Tekwill Academy Kids,” “Tekwill Academy,” and “Young Makers Club.”
The “Generation TEK” Exhibition, where teens aged 13–19 presented real-life projects, educational games, startups, and AI-powered solutions — developed through the Tekwill Junior Ambassadors competition
A new strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education and Research, ATIC, and the National Institute for Cybersecurity Innovation, which will lead to Moldova’s first high school cybersecurity curriculum
Held from 5–7 June, Moldova Digital Summit 2025 (MDS25) is the country’s flagship platform for accelerating digital transformation and enhancing the competitiveness of the ICT sector. Organized under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, the Summit convened representatives from the tech sector, government, international organizations, academia, investors, and public policy experts to foster collaboration and sustainable growth in Moldova’s digital ecosystem.
