Epsilon, a global communications service provider, has been selected by LG Uplus, the mobile and fixed service provider affiliate of the LG Corporation, to simplify its network operations around the globe. LG Uplus serves South Korean enterprises with communications services around the world and was in need of a solution that would eliminate the complexity of managing multiple service provider relationships and give them a single point of a contact for high-quality communications services in the region.
Epsilon facilitates local access services for LG Uplus in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa via its Enterprise Connect product line. The agreement includes complete transparency with LG Uplus’ enterprise customers and joint project planning to aid LG Uplus in delivering exceptional performance and quality of service no matter the market. By outsourcing this part of their operation, LG Uplus eliminates the need for procurement teams to manage local service provider relationships and network operations.
“We were able to offer LG Uplus the simplest and most efficient way to serve their enterprise customers around the world. By outsourcing these network services to Epsilon, LG Uplus is able to use our mix of local expertise, experience and relationships to ensure customer satisfaction,” says Elisabeth Schwarz, Regional Director Carrier Business APAC at Epsilon. “As LG Uplus’ enterprise customers move into new and challenging markets, we are ready to grow and scale our network services to meet their needs.”
LG Uplus is a provider of communications services offering wireless, broadband and enterprise services in South Korea. It rolled-out the world’s first national LTE network in South Korea in 2011. It is part of the LG Corporation, which employs more than 200,000 people working in over 110 locations around the world.
“Epsilon is a committed partner and has a track record of delivering for their customers across the Asia, Middle East and Africa. They have opened their doors to our team and jointly we have been able to create network solutions that turn a pain point into a success,” says JS Choi, General Manager, International Data Business at LG Uplus. “We believe in outsourcing where it adds value and Epsilon has demonstrated that its model is simple, seamless and future-proof.”
