OneExpert DSL provides cloud-based capabilities and a tablet-like touch screen interface

JDSU, the DSL test solutions provider, has expanded its product portfolio by introducing the OneExpert DSL modular field test platform. With its powerful user-friendly capabilities, OneExpert DSL enables technicians of any skill level to install and maintain broadband networks and to locate copper faults so they can find and fix problems the first time out.

OneExpert DSL is an intuitive, cloud-enhanced integrated tool for outside plant and in-home networks that provides detailed analysis for both physical- and application-layer-related problems.

OneExpert DSL provides several benefits for troubleshooting ADSL/VDSL service issues:

◾Enhances access and home-network service quality

◾Decreases OpEx by improving work processes and data flow

◾Expands field-test instrument usage with cloud and mobile device capabilities and interoperability

◾Protects your investment with a test instrument that grows with new technologies

OneExpert DSL gives tier 1 field technicians an easy, comprehensive way to test DSL services. OneExpert DSL can test ADSL/VDSL with the latest Broadcom chipset — which supports full vectoring — and then test the copper line, which is where the root causes for most faults occur. If needed, an innovative TDR can even locate most copper faults for faster repair.

Finally, the tier 1 field technician can also test in-home networks like Wi-Fi, coax and Cat5 for demarcation or troubleshooting purposes.
