Indosat Ooredoo, the digital telecommunications company in Indonesia, continues to expand its network coverage by adding 500 new sites in the East Java and Bali Nusra (EJBN) Regions.
The network deployment, which is also carried out in other regional areas, aims to support the development of video-grade 4G services throughout the country, and provide the best internet experience for customers who are now mostly working from home.
"The addition of 500 new sites has been carried out since last July and will continue until the end of 2021. Through the expansion of the video-quality network, which is strengthened by the launch of various products and services that are simple, transparent, and innovative, we hope that the digital telecommunication experience of customers, especially in East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara, will be better to support various activities from home in this pandemic situation," said Soejanto Prasetya, SPV - Head of Region East Java & Bali Nusra of Indosat Ooredoo.
Indosat Ooredoo EJBN has added 418 new sites in several areas in East Java and 99 new sites in Bali and Nusa Tenggara. The Jember, Tuban, and Sidoarjo areas are getting more additional new sites to support the needs of residents who increasingly require a quality internet connection. In addition, Indosat Ooredoo's Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service is now available nationwide, allowing customers to make voice calls on 4G networks with superior voice quality without disrupting ongoing data connectivity.
"In this era of the digital economy, a smooth internet connection is a customer's main need, especially to bounce back during the pandemic. We hope that our network expansion and data capacity improvement efforts can help customers to #BisaBangkitBersama," concluded Soejanto.
