The device carries amazing dual camera setup
Owing to the fact that this is a full display smartphone – it feels very special to hold this device. Honow 7X comes with tall display surrounded by thin bezels, and a dual-camera setup at the back. This smartphone carries a premium look, with a great build quality – given by its unibody metal design.

Despite featuring a 5.93-inch in display size, the smartphone doesn’t feel unusually big and is in fact quite handy to hold and use for multi tasking. One of the biggest feature of this device is its wonderful display – its full HD+ resolution (1080×2160 pixels), and 18:9 aspect ratio. This display is just about perfect for a smartphone and is quite bright and viewing angles are quite decent with this device.

Second most interesting aspect of this device is its dual-camera setup at the back. Honor 7X camera setup includes a combination of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors which are ideally placed to deliver great photography results. We extensively used this device in our recent trip to the Bengaluru Palace – and it has delivered amazing results.

This camera setup comes with great set of features. Honor 7X allows you to shoot portrait photos with a blurred background, and there’s also a ‘Motion picture’ mode – just to make things even more interesting.

Honor 7X is powered with a Kirin 659 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. This combination is acting perfectly for this device and we did not experience any sort of lag while reviewing this. We did go for multi level of activities with this smartphone involving, videos / pictures / playing games and navigating our way through the streets of Bengaluru as well. When it comes to performance, this device holds great integrity and performed quite well without any performance lag.

It comes with a 3,340mAh battery, which should ideally be enough to survive the day on a single charge. The Honor 7X comes with 64GB storage.

First Impressions Verdict

This is a a wonderful device and keeping in mind the legacy of X series by Honor – this device should be launched between 13K to 16K price range in India, which is a good price point for this device. To us, this looks like a perfect device in this category and can give great competition to other brands in the market.
