The tall screen of this device has thin borders on the sides but the top and bottom are relatively thicker. While reviewing the device we found that the fingerprint scanner of this device is quite quick to unlock the device. As this device comes with a powerful big battery, the Gionee M7 Power weighs 199g and hence it is a bit heavy on the hands. All in all – it carries an elegant design element and it is good to feel.

While reviewing this device – we found the hardware to be quite good and we did not face any lag in its performance. We extensively used this device to perform multiple tasking activities like playing games, surfing, watching videos and taking pictures. The processor in this device manages to run apps and games in a seamless manner. The fact that this device comes with 4GB of RAM adds to the big advantage of this smartphone and helps in delivering great experience for the customers.
As part of our review we also tested its big battery and while using it – the device worked quite well for a full day usage with medium to heavy use with still around 50 percent left at the end – so we used it for one and a half day.
When it comes to camera – Gionee M7 Power comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a single LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The camera app comes with different shooting modes that can help a user to take pictures according to the needs of the situation.
Gionee has also added a 2x zoom control in the camera app, which is done digitally. Overall the picture results coming from this device are quite satisfactory and deliver vivid colors and contrast in daylight situations.
