Gionee is announcing the M7 Power – the company’s first bezel-less display smartphone that comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery and a ‘FullView’ display. We have been reviewing the device for about a week now and here are our first impressions for this smartphone.
With its unique offerings, Gionee is known for creating its own very special place in the traditional channel space within India. Gionee M7 Power is slated to be launched today and will be the company's first bezel-less smartphone in India.
The M7 Power follows the current trend of displays with 18:9 aspect ratio and second, the smartphone will come with a huge 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, something Gionee is has already created a very own special space in the market now. Gionee claims that the phone can last up to two days on a single charge - and we found this claim to be actually true.

Gionee M7 Power Comes with Powerful Specs
In terms of specifications, the Gionee M7 smartphone comes with 6-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) FullView display with 2.5D curved glass display and 18:9 aspect ratio.
Powering this device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB RAM. It also comes packed with 64GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card.
As far as performance of this device is concerned, we extensively used it for about two days on a single charge and the performance was pretty smooth. We played games, took pictures, videos and also used it for watching videos. There was no lag in the performance of this device.
On the camera front, the phone features a 13-megapixel primary camera with an LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. For selfies, it sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Pictures taken with this device are quite clear and full of vivid colors.
On the connectivity front, the device comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. On the software front, Gionee M7 Power runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Amigo OS 5.0 on top.
Final Verdict
With 5000 mAh battery and bezel-less screen, Gionee M7 Power is a wonderful device that is ideal for power users. At a time when there are loads of devices coming in the Indian market, people who want more from their smartphone should certainly find it an interesting choice.
