Strengthening its Indian selfie movement #Selfiestan, Gionee has rolled out a new Over the Air (OTA) update for its recently launched device, A1.
Aimed at providing a ‘never before’ experience to its young and on the move consumers, the OTA update offers a host of customised experiences to users to enjoy music, videos and taking selfies on the year’s first flagship by the country’s leading youth company.
The latest update will provide selfie lovers the splendid experience to stockpile their selfies in a much easier and unique way. Designed from an interactive engagement perspective and taking their Hindustani selfie approach ahead, Gionee’s new OTA update will create a #Selfiestan folder in the image gallery of every A1 user. The selfies clicked with A1 will automatically be stored in that folder and will also allow the users to customise it as per their taste.
Besides, the update will also provide a smooth experience to watch and manage video. Users can enjoy watching the videos in a common video player for both YouTube and Local videos. In addition, with the new update A1 users will be able to watch YouTube videos in a floating window, for convenient and cluster free viewing experience.
The new update empowers A1 users to create their own album in music library. The new feature will further enhance experience of music lovers through easy navigation while adding alphabetic search feature in the music library.
Gionee OTA also offers a customized suspend button functionality, updated Google security patch. Further, the update fixes minor bugs and enhance the performance of the device.
