Telia and the Finnish gaming organization ENCE will continue their agreement to work together in supporting and promoting esports, gaming and digital culture.
'The cooperation we initiated last year has been mutually satisfactory,' says ENCE CEO Petri H·m·l·. At ENCE, we have managed to reach a new level as a team. Gaming and esports are growing incredibly fast worldwide: an increasing number of people play games in their leisure time, and the best players compete for million-euro prizes in international arenas. ENCE is the best-known competitive gaming organization in Finland and has won several Finnish and Nordic championships.
Telia’s objective is to support the growth of esports, while also strengthening the esports business and digital culture on a broader scale.
'Finland has good opportunities to become one of the top countries in esports. ENCE's players are already living their dream and we want to make it possible to put new stars like Patrik Laine on the competitive gaming map,' says Heli Partanen, head of Telia's Consumer Business.
