Cataleya and VoIP.ms have completed interoperability for VoIP.ms SIP Trunking with Cataleya’s Orchid Link Session Border Controller (SBC), creating a new option for service providers, MSPs, integrators, and enterprises across Canada and the United States seeking secure, flexible voice connectivity and a practical alternative to traditional SBC vendors.
The cooperation gives VoIP.ms customers a validated way to connect SIP Trunking services through Orchid Link SBC while supporting enterprise migration toward Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and Zoom Phone environments. The published configuration guide covers the VoIP.ms-facing access side and the customer core-facing side, helping voice and network engineers deploy faster with clear routing, media, signaling, security, and policy guidance.

For North American customers, the interoperability offers a carrier-grade demarcation point for SIP traffic, improved control and security for voice services, and a straightforward path to modern collaboration deployments. It also strengthens Cataleya’s market visibility in Canada and the broader North American region by offering VoIP.ms customers easier access to an SBC and collaboration enablement vendor positioned as an agile alternative in a competitive market.
“VoIP.ms is committed to giving our customers the freedom to choose the infrastructure that best fits their needs without compromising on reliability or control,” says Philippe Thiffeault, Sales Director at VoIP.ms. “Partnering with Cataleya adds a proven, carrier-grade SBC option for our customers in Canada and the United States, supported by a clear configuration guide and joint validation efforts.”
“Working with VoIP.ms allows us to bring our Orchid Link SBC and collaboration enablement capabilities into one of the most dynamic and demanding VoIP markets in the world,” adds Andreas Hipp, CEO at Cataleya. “Together, we provide service providers, MSPs, and enterprises with a robust, future-ready voice foundation that not only secures their VoIP.ms SIP trunks but also simplifies their journey to Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone, and other cloud collaboration platforms.”
Beyond SIP Trunk interoperability, Cataleya also highlights its broader focus on Microsoft Teams and Zoom integration through Orchid Collab and Link2Teams, which are designed to automate provisioning and service enablement for collaboration deployments. Cataleya’s Orchid Link SBC is Microsoft Teams Direct Routing certified, further strengthening its suitability for service providers and enterprises building secure voice and collaboration services.
