Bird Group, a business conglomerate with multiple verticals in Travel IT, Hospitality, Aviation Services, Retail and Education announces foray into mobile applications with launch of BirdApps.

Aimed at converging convenience with quality, Bird Apps is curating and building products on demand that cater to the evolving travel, hospitality and lifestyle segment. The in-house innovation lab will roll out a portfolio of SaaS, Web and App products in the sectors Bird Group operates in.

The first offering from Bird Apps basket is Laundrette – an on-demand, premium-quality service, making laundry maintenance a delight! This will be followed by launch of Guide – an organized platform that will connect global travellers visiting India to travel guides and driving their revenues and SIT – a disruptive app allowing gourmands an enhanced experience by pre-ordering at their favourite restaurants.

Starting February 2018, users will have access to best-in-class laundry and dry cleaning experience at the tap of button or click of a mouse. Accessible on world wide web ( as well as a downloadable app for iPhone and Android devices, Launderette is designed to offer a stress-free experience to busy professionals and those who cherish the comfort of clean, crisp linen and apparel.

Launderette’s end-to-end services includes free collection and delivery as well as a selection of garment care ranging from ‘wash and fold’, ‘wash and iron’, ‘dry cleaning’ and ‘steam ironing’. Once downloaded, customers can specify the service required, specify the time and place for laundry collection and delivery. Customers can also enjoy the flexibility to modify booking modify and track orders within a few taps.

Once collected, garments are sent to state-of-the-art facilities of partner 5-star hotels where they are meticulously treated using eco-friendly practices and carefully handled by a team of trained experts who ensure longevity of garments.

Customers may also select specialized services such as stain removal and garment mending. Currently accessible to residents of Delhi NCR and those visiting the city, Laundrette services will be scaled to several more cities across India.
