At a price point of INR 27,999 – Asus Zenfone 3 is surely giving a tough competition to other successful devices such as OnePlus 3 or Huawei P9.

The Zenfone 3 stays true to its spirit and delivers serious value for money with great hardware specifications and a really stunning design. Asus has announced multiple variants of Zenfone 3.

Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor

64GB/32GB storage

16MP rear camera + 8MP front

Android Marshmallow OS

Great Design, Super Battery

If you are used to looking at the usual Asus smartphone design – Zenfone 3 will act as a fresh breeze of air. This smartphone has glamour written all over it and is unconventionally designed in a super cool manner. Coming from the house of Asus, it has been launched in the market with a number of variants.

Zenfone 3 comes with a 3000mAh Battery that is enough for any user to last more than one day of hectic usage. This is especially important in today’s time of 4G data consumption. When I used this smartphone for simultaneously taking pictures, uploading them on Facebook, posting them on Instagram, doing Tweets etc, it has delivered great performance – all day long.

So, with this smartphone – Asus has surely done a marvelous job towards intertwining great software and hardware capabilities available on this device.

When it comes to design part – this smartphone is built with metal and glass and delivers a unique style statement to the user. The rear of Zenfone 3 features metal reinforced with glass – this is where this smartphone gets its signature look. However, this is also a serious fingerprint magnet as it can take fingerprint stains quite easily.

There is no doubt that – this device is definitely one of the best designed smartphone of this year.

When it comes to display – Asus Zenfone 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and it’s adequately bright and quite good for viewing video content on the device. One of the best features of this device comes from its intelligent display – the auto brightness setting works wonderfully well and the display is viewable even under the bright sunlight exposure.

Asus Zenfone 3 is powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset and this chipset is quite fast when it comes to managing multitasking capabilities of a user. While reviewing the device we used extensive gaming such as Asphalt 8 – and experienced smooth display of graphics without any lag at all.

On the other hand, this device features a rear fingerprint scanner at the back, which is a bit odd when it comes to design part – as it is difficult to actually rest your finger onto the fingerprint scanner completely.

Asus Zenfone 3 comes with Chrome browser and it also has another browser called Puffin. There is also a handy tool to speed up the phone. The UI looks quite smooth and works well with the given storage in the device.

Asus Zenfone 3 features a rear fingerprint scanner which is really odd in terms of design. It has a really small area and it’s not easy to rest your finger completely. It supports 360 degree recognition but the results are mixed.

Final Verdict

This stylish smartphone is a top performer and definitely has some of the best in class features when it comes to design, display, camera, performance, battery life and not to mention its glamorous looks.

Asus Zenfone 3 will surely appeal to those who are ready to add a bit of extra style to their personality.
