ADTRAN’s Gary Bolton Deepens Leadership within Fiber Broadband Association

ADTRAN®, Inc., the provider of next-generation open networking solutions, today announced VP of Global Marketing Gary Bolton has been elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Fiber Broadband Association’s Board of Directors for 2020 and Chairman for 2021.

“Congratulations to Gary and to all of our new and returning Board members,” Fiber Broadband Association President and CEO Lisa R. Youngers said. “I am thankful for their commitment to propelling deployment of all-fiber networks to better connect the world. I look forward to working closely with the Board to advance the Fiber Broadband Association’s mission in the years to come.”

ADTRAN has been a member of the Fiber Broadband Association since 2008, and during Bolton’s tenure, he has served two terms as treasurer, chaired the finance and audit committee, and has chaired the public policy and the marketing committees.

In his role as vice chair of the association, Bolton will continue his commitment to the association and industry to facilitate the deployment of all-fiber access networks, fiber-enabled applications and solutions for economic development and enhancing quality of life.

“It’s an exciting time for the industry; we are going to see advanced technologies deployed that enable providers to offer competitive, revenue-generating services and enable communities to implement connected healthcare, education and smart city applications,” Bolton said. “I look forward to deepening my leadership in the Fiber Broadband Association, as our work is helping to accelerate access to broadband-rich applications that are improving the way people work, live and play.”
