Enghouse Networks has announced a partnership with Access Communications Co-operative of Regina, Saskatchewan, to deliver next-generation fully hosted TV service to Canadian service providers.
Service providers are upgrading their TV platform for two main reasons: cost efficiency and the ability to provide a better user experience for consumers. So far, the use of such solutions has meant considerable investment costs, delays in increasing sales and a high level of risk.
The Enghouse TV solution offers operators a state-of-the-art TV service for their customers with low start-up costs, rapid sales development and low operational risk. This makes a next generation solution easy to achieve for small and medium-sized operators across Canada.
"We are excited to partner with Enghouse Networks to deliver a secure, customer-centric video solution," said Jeffrey De Sarno , CTO of Access Communications. "As a cooperative, we strive to provide exceptional entertainment services to the communities we serve. We are now offering our subscribers a full TV experience, and this initiative enables other operators across the country to offer video solutions that are just as robust and secure. "
The solution gives operators access to over 200 live TV channels, catch-up and restart services, network DVR and extensive on-demand content. The service is highly configurable so that the most diverse market segments can be addressed without any problems.
"The Enghouse solution gives operators the ability to target market segments with high quality TV services," says Sunil Diaz , General Manager of Enghouse Networks. "By partnering with Access Communications, we can deliver these services at unmatched time to revenue and with an Offer low implementation risk. We have already registered a number of operators for the service and expect more to join in the coming months."
