EXA Infrastructure, the largest dedicated digital infrastructure platform connecting Europe and North America, has announced the deployment of FiberSense’s state-of-the-art DigitalAsset™ monitoring and protection service across its core fiber network in Italy. This collaboration represents a major advancement in proactive network management, delivering new levels of visibility, resilience, and security for EXA’s critical fiber routes.
DigitalAsset™ uses advanced vibration sensing and AI-driven analytics to transform existing optical fiber into a vast network of environmental sensors. This capability allows EXA Infrastructure to detect and classify activity occurring in real time along its buried fiber routes, such as accidental excavations, construction interference, or environmental disturbances, before they can cause service disruptions.
